Have you ever seen plants returning to the soil? We tend to be influenced by what we can see, but invisible microorganisms coexist in the city and in our rooms. Microorganisms are an important component of the earth, and they play an important role in “decomposition. We now need to have the imagination to "see" how they work.

Flower compost aims to strongly impress the viewer with the step of circulation by visualizing the process of decomposition of [flowers], which are expected to be beautiful, and the microorganisms decomposing the flowers.

This work is a joint project between flowercompost and Syncs.Earth. And it is an experiment to decompose the products of Syncs.Earth by the microorganisms existing in flowercompost. We hope that respecting the earth's vital rule of circulation and producing things by designing circulation in advance will become the standard for the coming society.

植物が土に還っていく姿を見たことがあるでしょうか。目に見えることに左右されてしまいがちな私たちですが、都市の中にも部屋の中にも、目には見えない微生物たちが共存しています。地球の大事な構成要因である微生物たちは【分解】という重要な役割をもつ存在。彼らの働きを【見る】想像力が、いま、私たちに必要とされています。
